Leon Bridges & Charley Crockett tickets

The Zoo Amphitheatre, OKC, presents Leon Bridges & Charley Crockett LIVE in concert! With guest acts Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore, our acclaimed Texan tandem will serenade audiences this September 20, Saturday, on a brand NEW addition to their 2025 “The Crooner & The Cowboy” Tour, underscoring their much-treasured friendship and rich heritage across the North American circuits.

Famed nationwide for the double-platinum hits “River” and “Beyond,” Leon Bridges maps his journey in music with soulful inspirations from the ‘60s. He offers such emotive songs as “Bet Ain't Worth the Hand,” winning Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 61st Grammys. His partner, Grammy-nominated troubadour Charley Crockett, represents the sweet sounds of Americana, coming off the heels of his new album (Lonesome Drifter) with a collection of tastily gritty singles like his Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay Top 30 standouts “Trinity River” and “Solitary Road.” They’re both in this together, and you should be, too, so get your tickets now!

The Crooner & The Cowboy Tour

A NEW date just dropped for “THE CROONER & THE COWBOY” Tour with Leon Bridges & Charley Crockett! Make a beeline for The Zoo Amphitheatre of OKC this Saturday, September 20, 2025, for a LIVE event celebrating the acoustic/musical roots between two of Texas’ most evocative artists, featuring opening sets from guests Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore.

“We grew up in this thing together. From the smallest clubs you can imagine,” reflected Leon Bridges on the shared journey with his co-headliner before they hit it big. Bridges, 35, was raised in Fort Worth, TX. From his side of this venture, he delivers exquisitely inspired music born of the 1960s R&B boom (think Sam Cooke and Otis Redding), with an anecdotal layer that flexes his capabilities as a Grammy Award-winning songwriter. Last year, he issued his fourth LP (Leon), which introduced us to “Laredo,” one of the concert’s much-anticipated hits on top of RIAA Platinum-certified songs “Beyond,” “River,” and “Coming Home.”

Co-star Charley Crockett, born in San Benito, TX, champions the street-busking ways of his formative years in Dallas, New Orleans, and NYC. Crockett’s style is roots music revived, as evident in “Jamestown Ferry” and “Welcome to Hard Times.” This weekend night, he will lay out soundscapes of gritty Americana spilling into soul, gospel, and country. His known works feature the Top 30 singles “$10 Cowboy,” “Trinity River,” and “Solitary Road” from Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay charts, including some runaways from his latest album under Lone Star Rider and Island (Lonesome Drifter).

Collaborators and roots rock/progressive country icons Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore unite to support this new era of trailblazers. Their set aims to showcase classics such as Alvin’s “Harlan County Line” and Gilmore’s “My Mind's Got a Mind of Its Own,” with memorable tunes from their joint effort, Downey to Lubbock.

Brace for an enthralling experience in Oklahoma! Transformed and renovated, the city’s Zoo Amphitheatre now exhibits upgraded amenities to serve thousands of concert-goers, from better seating and sightlines to improved climate control and state-of-the-art stage facilities.
